$500 for your Thoughts
Monday, 04 August 2008 17:27

Most of us have had someone ask us, “penny for your thoughts?” when we were looking pensive.  That really is not much for one’s thoughts, especially if you make a living as a consultant providing ideas and thoughts to make a living.  The saying is from a time when the British penny was worth a significant sum, but may now seem more like an insulting offer. Well, the next generation has increased the offer.  With inflation rates seemingly increasing every day, it only makes sense to update this idiom.  The Charlotte County Young Professionals (CCYP) has done just that.  The CCYP is asking the citizens of Charlotte County to share their thoughts and ideas for a chance to win $500 in a drawing. The Charlotte County Young Professionals has developed a survey to gauge what makes Charlotte County a great place for the next generation and how the CCYP can benefit our community.  The ten-minute survey will take our county’s pulse, measure CCYP’s impact, and give our citizens and members the opportunity to be heard.
