Alright everyone, time to get out your cardboard, duct tape, and rubber cement. It is cardboard boat-building time! We are excited to announce the 5th Annual CCYP Carboard Boat Race. This year's race will be held at noon on April 24th at Laishley Marina. The Redfish Cup fishing tournament will not be held this year, but our races will go on as we are partnering with a different tournament this time around. For more information about the rules for the race, go to http://www.ccypboatrace.com/info.php. The wesbite may say 2009 right now but that will be updated soon and the rules are still the same. For more information, contact Monica at monica@ccyp.info and for photos, click here.

If you have not alreayd read it, you've got to read the June 2009 issue of Harbor Style magazine! It has a fantastic story about CCYP including interviews of past and present members. It also has the Bachelor and Bachelorette of 2009 competition (almost entirely comprised of CCYP members). And for those with children, there is a story about young families in Charlotte County that also features CCYP members. Check out Harbor Style here and pick up a hard copy of the current issue at many of your area businesses.
CCYP is looking for members who want to be more active within the organization. We are looking for those who would like to donate their time and energy to many CCYP projects and initiatives.
